Tasting: The Design Thinking Questions That Create Clarity and Momentum
Tastings are short reviews I create of content submitted to me by Creator Kitchen members. In a tasting, I share what resonated with me and what I’d suggest doing next time, all in the name of pushing you creatively.
To help guide my review, I ask members to submit answers to the three core “design thinking” questions: Who is it for? What is it for? How do you know if it’s working?
In this tasting, I’m sampling this article from Kitchen member Amanda Natividad.
Before watching my video, here’s the context I received:
Who is this for?
For marketers who care about Super Bowl Ads in some way. Maybe they have strong opinions about them, or they're just looking for food for thought.
What is this for?
In a way, it's for my reassurance that I'm climbing out of my content rut. I really wanted to write a cohesive thought that was more than a listicle like, "3 reasons why blah blah."
How do you know if it's working?
Partly, responses. I got a few kind responses from folks saying they loves this newsletter. I also will sometimes forget about what I've written then come back to it days later to re-read and assess whether I'm satisfied with the quality. Super subjective, I know.
Below is I noticed when sampling the work.
Thank you to Amanda for being generous, committed, and open!

1-sentence answers to the questions listed above (Who is it for? What is it for? How do you know if it’s working?)
Please note: I can’t guarantee any turnaround time, but it will take me at least 1 month, given the demand. In that way, tastings are best for receiving evergreen lessons, not for improving a draft ahead of your next deadline.
